Miller Goodall Environmental Services was established in 2004 and since this time have undertaken a wide range of projects covering:
- Environmental Impact Assesments for residential, retail, leisure, educational and industrial developments
- Sound Insulation testing and detailing to achieve Building Regulations Part E and Air Tightness Testing
- Noise impact assessments for planning
- Planning consultation advice for local authorities on noise and air quality

The team at Miller Goodall are either qualified Acousticians or Environmental Health Officers with additional qualifications in Environmental Protection and Business Studies. The team have a depth of experience in the Enironmental Protection field, specialising in Acoustics, Industrial Pollution Control and Environmental Planning.
Meet The Team

Joanne Miller
Jo established the business in 2004 with Lesley, making the move from managing the pollution control team of a City Council. Jo has specialised in Environmental Protection from qualifying as an Environmental Health Officer in 1990 and has subsequently achieved a Masters in Acoustics and Masters in Business Administration.
Jo's role covers all consultancy activities including; noise impact assessments, sound insulation testing and design, noise at work assessments and Industrial Pollution Control inspections on behalf of local authorities. Jo is a registered sound insulation tester and has provided expert advice at planning appeals.
Jo's role also involves ensuring the business thrives and continues to improve. Jo is an active member of the Association of Noise Consultants, a member of the ANC membership steering group and a member of the Institute of Acoustics.

Steve Maslivec
Steve is a qualified Environmental Health Officer with a Diploma in Acoustics and has specialised in Environmental Protection for numerous years. Steve has considerable experience of planning issues; particularly related to noise and air quality.
Steve joined Miller Goodall in 2006.

Jan Finney
Jan joined Miller Goodall in July 2007 and as the office manager, ensures smooth running of the office.

Lesley Goodall
Lesley established Miller Goodall 2004 along with Jo and has considerable experience in all areas of environmental protection. Lesley qualified as an Environmental Health Officer in 1990 and achieved a Masters in Environmental Protection. She has specialised in pollution control for the majority of her working career.
Lesley has significant experience of industrial pollution control and noise impact assessments. She has been involved in a number of planning appeals and provided expert noise advise.
Lesley strives to ensure the business meets the needs of our clients ensuring an efficient and effective service is provided.

Rich Hinton
Having previously worked in the music industry as a recording engineer, followed by a period lecturing in Audio Engineering at Perth College, Rich took some time out to study and graduated from the University of Salford Acoustics BSc course with first class honours. He is a corporate member of the Institute of Acoustics and registered with the ANC to undertake sound insulation testing.
Rich initially worked as a student with Miller Goodall and then returned after working with the acoustics team at a major multi-disciplinary consultancy.
