Blackburn Road Scheme Granted Planning Permission

Miller Goodall submitted a noise impact assessment for a new road scheme including new bus lanes in the Ewood area of Blackburn.  Noise monitoring and prediction using CadnaA modelling software was undertaken to provide a comprehensive assessment of noise level changes due to the proposal.  Problem areas were identified and effective and feasable mitigation proposed.  The scheme was granted planning permission in December 2009 giving Miller Goodall another successful planning result.
