Miller Goodall has extensive experience of both measurement of existing road traffic noise and prediction of potential road traffic noise from proposed road schemes.
Measurements and predications are undertaken in accordance with the Calculation of Road Traffic Noise 1988 (CRTN). Adverse noise impacts from proposed road schemes can be rated using the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges and Sound Insulation Regulations. Our experienced team can advise on mitigation to reduce adverse noise impacts to allow smooth progress through the planning process.
